How quickly will you dispatch and deliver my order?
We aim to dispatch all orders same-day. The only exception is if we receive the order late in the day (UK time zone), in which case it will be dispatched the following morning.
We use the fastest service our carrier offers for both UK and International shipments.
All orders will receive tracking links.
The shipping times are below:
UK = 1-2 days (We use next-day delivery)
Europe = 3-5 days
USA = 3-5 days
Rest of World = 5-7 days
Customs Processing can occasionally add extra days if your country's system is slow.
For the USA, due to recent changes in import rules, the import duty/tax/tariff is paid in advance by us (Elixa Ltd.) to keep packages moving swiftly.
Does Elixa require refrigeration during postage? Will my order arrive in good condition?
Great question. Something I receive from my customers in Australia, Southern California, and Dubai, in particular.
Since we are the manufacturer of Elixa, we know exactly how to handle probiotics for maximum viability.
The key to maintaining viability of the Elixa Probiotic bacteria is to correctly freeze-dry them and then prevent any humidity ingress whatsoever. This is far more important than controlling temperature.
Properly freeze-dried and packaged probiotics are stable at all temperatures they will experience during the delivery process and during storage at your home.
No refrigeration is required.
This is because it is the lack of moisture in the powder which keeps them in suspended animation and prevents them dying. It is not about temperature.
The packaging we use blocks humidity (and oxygen) ingress to keep the bacteria viable for up to 2 years.
This explains why our many customers in extremely hot climates (and some freezing cold climates too!) all experience the same benefits from their Elixa courses!
